Looking for the best freelance web designers on Fiverr? Here are 5 verified, top-rated pros with real ratings, prices, and reviews to help you choose.
Why Your Website Design Matters More Than You Think
If you’re searching for the best freelance web designers on Fiverr, you probably already know your website is doing more work than you realize. It’s your storefront, your sales pitch, and often the very first thing a stranger sees before they decide whether to trust your business at all.
That first judgment happens fast. Research tracing back to Stanford’s Web Credibility project has found that roughly 75% of a website’s credibility comes down to its design, and separate industry data puts 94% of first impressions as design-related rather than content-related. In plain terms: a clunky, outdated site can cost you the sale before a visitor reads a single word of your copy.
That’s exactly why so many small businesses, startups, and solo entrepreneurs turn to Fiverr. It’s one of the fastest ways to hire on Fiverr a skilled designer without the overhead of a full agency contract. But with thousands of gigs to sift through, finding someone genuinely good takes time.
So I went through the process for you. Below are five freelance web designers on Fiverr I checked directly against their live gig pages — real ratings, real review counts, real starting prices, no guesswork. Whether you need a simple landing page or a full custom build, one of these five should fit.

How to Choose the Right Fiverr Web Designer for Your Project
With five strong options above, here’s a quick way to narrow it down:
- Tightest budget: Allan R. offers Top Rated quality starting around $120.
- Best all-around design quality: Kiki’s Vetted Pro status and 1,600+ completed sites make her a safe bet for a premium result.
- Technical or SaaS product: Denys K. is the clear pick if you need more than a marketing site.
- WordPress specifically: Hammad’s agency-backed experience and nearly 1,000 reviews make him hard to beat.
- Squarespace specifically: Joshua H.’s perfect rating and platform focus stand out.
All five are either Top Rated or Fiverr Vetted Pro, which matters more than it might seem. Fiverr’s own vetting process for Pro sellers involves an in-house review of their skills and expertise, the quality of their past deliveries, their work and education history, and their track record of client satisfaction before they’re ever allowed into that catalog. That’s a meaningfully higher bar than an unvetted new seller with no order history.
Frequently Asked Questions
How much does it cost to hire a web designer on Fiverr?
Prices vary widely based on the seller’s experience and platform. In this list alone, starting prices range from $35 for a small site tweak up to $1,250 for a fully custom Squarespace build. Hourly rates for the sellers above range from $18 to $85 per hour.
Is Fiverr Pro worth paying extra for?
If you want a lower-risk hire, yes. Fiverr Pro sellers go through a multi-step vetting process before they’re approved, which filters out inexperienced or unreliable freelancers. You’ll usually pay more, but you’re also getting a track record Fiverr has already checked.
What’s the difference between a Top Rated seller and a Vetted Pro?
Top Rated is an achievement tier based on performance data on Fiverr itself, things like on-time delivery, response rate, and review scores over time. Vetted Pro is a separate, hand-reviewed program where Fiverr’s team personally evaluates a seller’s outside portfolio and professional background before approving them.
Should I hire a WordPress designer or a website builder (Duda, Squarespace) designer?
It depends on how much control you want later. WordPress gives you more flexibility and plugins long-term but usually needs more upkeep. Builders like Duda and Squarespace are simpler to maintain yourself once the designer hands the site over.
How long does it take to get a website built on Fiverr?
Based on the reviews for the sellers above, most website projects take anywhere from a few days for a small site to 4-6 weeks for a larger, custom build. Always confirm the timeline with the seller directly before ordering.
Can I ask a Fiverr web designer for revisions after delivery?
Most sellers, including the ones listed here, include a set number of revisions in their packages, and several explicitly mention post-delivery support windows. Check each gig’s package details, since this varies seller to seller.
